Deeper Than Muscle is a documentary exploring the lives of four athletes beyond their physical achievements. Through intimate conversations and observational filmmaking, the film uncovers the personal experiences, struggles and motivations that shape who they are beyond sport.

As director, I led the film's creative vision, from developing the individual character narratives and visual language to directing the interviews, shaping the cinematography and guiding the final edit.

The approach was simple: let the people lead the story. Rather than scripting their experiences, we built the narrative around genuine conversations and unscripted moments, finding the balance between cinematic storytelling and authenticity.
